Ms. Ohlson has worked with students in the Berkeley Schools for three
years. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on School
Counseling and individual/family therapy. She has worked with elementary,
middle and high school students, and enjoys helping CP Academy students
explore who they are and who they want to become.
Counseling resources for CP Academy students include:
9th grade groups to help students create a 5 year plan to achieve
academic and personal goals.

In addition to her work in CP Academy, Ms. Ohlson is also a Teaching
Assistant with the UNTraining (UNTraining White Liberal Racism), a program
that provides resources and tools for white people who are motivated to
investigate how they contribute to maintaining a white-dominated world and
how they can work to create authentic change. She has also completed one
year of Somatics & Trauma training with Staci Haines & Denise
Benson.
