Leadership Council Minutes

13 folks in attendance. Meeting extended to 7:30 pm.

Annie read a summary about the outcome of the Parent AP conversation – report 29^th May 2006 (see attachment).

Specifics: AP by Ms. Chen – sophomores looping; AP by Ms. Bell – seniors non-looping

Both courses – differentiated teaching {American Lit; AP Language and Composition}

Everyone should know before hand what class they are taking. Differentiated on schedule. Class size? In general there will be lots of structuring problems.

Next – proposals/comments from different visitors that degenerated into arguments.

Major problem – facilitator is part of discussion. Another meeting was proposed to further the conversations. Colette will see when BayCES facilitators can make it.

One question – how do we get info out about all of these AP discussions?

Student Code of Conduct

Students with Mrs. Bugarini’s guidance have developed a code of conduct (see attachment).
