Monday - Internships -- Get timesheets signed. Evaluations go out this
week.

Tuesday -- How health care works (or doesn't!) Sicko

Friday -- Students interested in BEST Health for 2010-2011 (EMT training)
will meet in H207 with BYA staff to establish WIA eligibility and get
course specificiations and contract.  Students interested in BEST TIPS
(Technology in Public Service) will review BCC course offerings and
develop initial plan for BEST project.

Work week of 7th March 2010

Monday:  Internships; meet in H202B if not at internship.  Timesheets due
this week.  Evaluations go out in the mail this week and will be included
in mid-semester grades.

Tuesday:  Field trip to San Jose State University.  Gather at 8:30 am at
Milvia and Bancroft (private bus).  Lunch provided.  Return by 3:30.

Wednesday:  Internships.  

Thursday:  Juniors interested in EMT training during senior year must go
to H201.  Everyone else to H202B for Sicko.

Friday:  Debrief San Jose State; Transcript review and 5-year planning
with PACE mentors from UC Berkeley.

Thursday - Education Autobiography assignment. We will be reading about Public Health, and beginning to look at disparity issues in health.
Friday - Friday we have guest speakers from Heart to Heart who will review how the health care system is run, insurance, coverage for those without insurance, public vs. private health care institutions, and why disparities exist in health care outcomes.

Thursday -- Arrive 8:30 with overnight clothes and sleeping bag.  Bus
leaves at 9 am.  Junior Retreat
